Inline Text Editor for Mobile

What's New
The comment description editor is now inline on the comment screen — no separate step required. Formatting tools, table editing, and video playback are all accessible without the improved text editor.
Why It Matters
Inspectors can format and edit comments faster, directly in the flow of their work — fewer taps, fewer interruptions.
Details
No extra tap to edit.
 The description editor opens directly on the comment screen. Tap Edit
 anytime to open the editor for a larger view.
Formatting toolbar always visible.
 Bold, italic, underline, text color, links, and clear formatting are accessible inline.
Table support.
 Tables created on web now render correctly on mobile — including header rows, nested content, and the ability to add rows and edit inline.
Video embeds now display on mobile.
 Videos added via the web editor are now visible and playable in mobile comments.
Fixed: cursor jumping when applying text color.
 Formatting no longer moves your cursor unexpectedly.
Fixed: link editing on iOS and Android.
 Links can now be added and edited on both platforms.

Enabling or Disabling the Inline Editor
The inline editor is off by default
. To toggle it on or off:
Hamburger menu (top left) > Settings
 > New Inline Text Editor
Timing & Audience
Available to all users on version 10.31.0. Rolling out slowly over the coming weeks — not everyone will see it immediately.
