Choose Your Property Data Source: ATTOM or Rentcast

What's New
When automatic property data lookup is turned on, admins can now choose which service fills in square footage and year built. Rentcast is available as an alternative to ATTOM.
Why It Matters
Square footage often drives your pricing, so a wrong number can mean an underpriced job or a quote that costs you the booking. If ATTOM data has been unreliable in your area, you can now switch to a source that tested more accurately.

ATTOM remains the default
, so nothing changes unless an admin selects Rentcast

Why Rentcast
: in our testing it matched Zillow listings more closely than ATTOM, especially on square footage
Note:
 ATTOM accuracy varies by region. Plenty of companies see no issues with it, which is why this is an option rather than a change we made for everyone.

 Existing inspections are not updated retroactively. The selected source applies to lookups going forward.
