How effective are your Advanced Automations? Well, we know for a fact that they are highly effective but now you will have access to some specifics for measuring that giving you new insights into your communications.
The new Automation Metrics tab in Automations highlights 4 bits of helpful info regarding how your automations are performing. These metrics are filterable by date range as well as automation category. Each metric also includes a direct comparison to the previous same date range (e.g. last 30 days metric vs the prior, days 31-60, days metric).

  • Upsell Revenue
    : This will show you a dollar amount. This is the total upsell revenue that came in specifically when an automation recipient clicks the link to the Client Portal and requests one or more add-ons. We are only counting the revenue when it is accepted internally and will adjust the amounts accordingly if there are manual edits to the add-on service pricing.
  • Email Open Rate
    : This metric shows your overall automations email open rate. We are using industry standard methods for calculating this but be aware that the rate here can be affected by specific email client actions or spam filtering that the recipients may have in place.
  • Emails Sent
    : This metric simply shows the total number of emails that were attempted to be sent in within the filtered date range and category.
  • Texts Sent
    : This metric simply shows the total number of texts that were attempted to be sent in within the filtered date range and category.
NOTE
: The date range filter includes options for 180 and 365 days. The linking of the upsell revenue data is only available back to approximately mid January of 2025 so the values represented with those filters will provide a more accurate representation over time.
